Naturopathic Consultations
Our initial and follow-up sessions are scheduled based on your needs, but generally, these pay-per-session appointments are best for any client who seeks insight and treatment plan designs from Dr. Furtado every 2-3 months.
These are the best appointments for clients who have been seeing Dr. Furtado for over 3+ years, and love to just have a session whenever they need consultation. Also, It is available for any new or established client to schedule sessions as needed.
Generally, a client has the first session with Dr Furtado, and then implements the treatment plan and send samples for functional medicine testing. About 6-8 weeks after the initial consult, the first ND follow up session serves as a review of findings, and the treatment plan is re-designed after Dr. Furtado learns more about your needs.
The next sessions are generally scheduled at 2-month intervals, which allows patients to benefit from the remedies and implement the treatment plan’s lifestyle changes. Support, guidance and treatment plan revisions are provided during sessions, as needed. As treatment goals are met, then sessions are scheduled at 4 or 6 month intervals, until patients shift into a yearly check in or a come as you need basis.
Full Circle Program
Starting January 2024, after 23 years in practice, Dr. Furtado launched the Full Circle Program to aid and support you in your healthcare goals by providing Health Coach services. This program is best for new clients who seek to treat chronic illness through lifestyle medicine and finding the root cause of their dis-ease, and would love to have more support!
It is also available to any ND client at any point of their healing journey, if they feel they will benefit from health coaching. The Health Coach provides support and clearer path for implementation of the naturopathic treatment plan.
The process starts in same fashion, after an initial visit, you will have a 6-week ND follow up, review of findings session. After that first follow up, you will be connected to your Health Coach!
During the next 3 months, you will meet with her every two weeks, so that you have all the support and guidance you need to succeed in the journey!
The Full Circle program includes 4 ND follow up consultations and 6 Health Coach consultations, all via Healthie.
Naturopathic Medicine Consultations with Dr. Kim Furtado, ND, a licensed naturopathic doctor, can be conducted virtually via phone or a secure telehealth platform. In-person sessions can also be scheduled on a limited basis, and require a credit card on file to hold the appointment. Our services don’t go through insurance, and payments are due at the time of service. You can always check with your healthcare insurance carrier to see if you can submit for reimbursement after your consultation.
