FULL CIRCLE

Bring your health

Clients who want to bring their health Full Circle will love the teamwork and attention they receive by adding Health Coaching Services to their naturopathic care plan.  The Full Circle Program is meant to help you excel in meeting your clinical goals and get support in between naturopathic visits.

We all relate to the circle, as sometimes when we try to make changes in our lives, we seem to end up back where we started. But we also know that the circle nourishes, feeds and engages us in all our many facets of life.

We know that vibrant health and healing can flow effortlessly and easily when all the layers of you align, and your body remembers its original state: healthy, happy and balanced.

Making lasting changes in our health and chronic illness patterns takes effort.  And health is not a status or stagnant place, it is a state of Being.    As Dr. Jared Zeff, ND, so wisely explains, “Dis-ease exists when the conditions for disease exist. Health is created when conditions for health exist.”

Many clients would love and need to have more hands-on, frequent support to implement and make lasting progress in their health goals.

Everyone is unique, and this uniqueness informs the foods and lifestyle practices that will work for each client. By learning how to tune in and listen to your body, wellness coaches provide a safe space for clients to explore this; you will become an expert on what makes you feel amazing as well as what makes you feel depleted.

  • Our integrative health care providers, Dr. Kim, Katy and Sydney view health as a vital state of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being, which enables a person to be fully engaged in life. We act as partners in the client’s care, helping the client to become empowered and informed. An informed client is an integral part of the decision-making process.

Integrative health care interventions treat the illness as well as the whole person, addressing the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual factors that influence health and disease. Clients are taught how to recognize, manage, and decrease stress. Obstacles to success are identified and specific strategies to overcome those obstacles are developed with the client. Clients are given nutritional counseling because specific foods in a healthy diet have a significant influence on health and disease.

“Integrative Medicine is patient-centered care that focuses on healing the whole person—mind, body and spirit in the context of community. Combining the best of Western scientific medicine with a broader understanding of the nature of illness, healing and wellness, integrative medicine makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches and evidenced-based global medical modalities to achieve optimal health and healing.”

Meet your coaches

Meet your coaches

A health and wellness coach is a supportive guide who helps clients set health goals, whether to lose weight, improve energy, better manage stress, and much more. In addition to being a mentor who holds clients accountable, health and wellness coaches are vital members of the greater healthcare team, and enacting sustainable and positive behavioral lifestyle changes.

Naturopathic clients often find it challenging to follow their prescribed nutritional and stress management plans. More affordable and frequent coaching and education can help them make lasting lifestyle changes, addressing the root causes of their health issues, and improving their success.

The collaboration between Dr. Furtado and her coaches, Katy Pugh and Sydney Dawson was initiated to empower clients to achieve optimal, sustainable outcomes by accessing affordable supportive services.  Meeting your goals is our primary goal!

The mission of the Collaboration is to bring healing to a Full Circle, where clients feel supported, nourished and empowered to experience profound, lasting healing of their health concerns.  We strive to improve outcomes and provide individualized support as patients seek integrative and preventative education and health care services.
